Bushy’s are brewing a special beer to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the TTMA. It will be available in pubs across the Island from spring onwards. Bushy’s have generously agreed to donate 10p for every pint sold to TTMA funds.

The beer will be launched at Isle of Man’s first ever CAMRA Real Ale Festival where you can be one of the first to try it.

The TTMA held their first Social night of 2012 at the Masonic Hall in Ramsey on 1st Feb and what a good night it was; well attended, well presented and enjoyed by all that were there.

These nights include a short Powerpoint Presentation into marshalling, followed by a video Fire Demonstration, and then a correct use of Flags Presentation, also there is an all night "just for fun" quiz, and a forum.

On the forum at Ramsey was Conor Cummins, Dan Kneen, Keith McKay, Chris Mitchell (who hopes to get a ride in the MGP 2012) and Phil Taubman who was Clerk of the Course for the MGP.
The riders told us what they hope to achieve this coming year so lets wish them well and hope they have a good year.
As CoC, Phil, explained to us the problems that can be experienced when things don't go to plan!
All in all a really good night so come along to our next one in Douglas on the 22nd Feb, when we hope to have Gary Thompson the new TT Clerk of Course on the Forum Panel.
