Steam Packet - Discount scheme
Isle of Man Steam Packet Company
Rebate Scheme for Marshals that attend both the
TT and FoM in the same year.
As a further reward to those marshals that travel by ferry to both events we are pleased to be able to offer a rebate on your Festival of Motorcyling ferry costs. Again it is hoped that this scheme will help attract more marshals to help the safe and smooth running of both events.
A person paying a FoM ferry fare of £200 or less will receive a rebate of 50% of the fare paid.
Anyone paying a ferry fare of more than £200 will receive the maximum rebate of £100.
This rebate will be given against the ferry booking for the Festival of Motorcycling, provided that the applicant has marshalled at both the TT and FoM and that they have booked with the Steam Packet Company for both trips.
No rebate is available for visiting marshals who travel to only one event.
Rebates cannot be requested in advance of travel and can only be claimed during FoM.
Rebates will be given against foot passenger bookings or any vehicle and passenger bookings with the exception of any commercial/freight bookings.
Marshalls signing on will be given a form by TTMA which they will be required to retain and complete prior to taking it to the Ferry Travel Shop in the Sea Terminal in Douglas during the Festival of Motorcycling period. We will also ask to take a photocopy of your warrant card prior to giving any rebate.

Advance Booking Scheme for Marshals attending TT 2017
In partnership with IOMTTMA we are pleased to be able to offer this opportunity to marshals who have achieved the minimum qualification criteria as set out below.
The scheme is designed to reward those people who travel to the island by ferry and who willingly volunteer their time to help both the TT and Festival of Motorcycling to take place. We also hope that it will attract more marshals to help the safe and smooth running of both events.
The IOMTTMA will supply a database of all marshals that signed on in 2015.
Each marshal must have signed on and attended a minimum of 5 sessions in 2015.
A session is defined as being a whole practice session or a whole race day
From TT 2016, if a marshal signs on and attends the first practice session on Saturday 28 May or Senior Race Day then they will receive 2 credits towards the minimum 5 required
All marshals from the UK and Ireland , Europe and beyond can qualify if they meet the minimum criteria above.
All marshals that meet the minimum criteria above will be contacted by the Steam Packet Company, either by e mail or post, before the end of April.
- The letter and booking form will give details of how and when you need to apply, late booking requests may be accommodated but will lose priority status once bookings open to the public.
Online Signing-on for TT 2016 is now available.
Access the site using the button on the left 'Online Signon'.
Please sign-on as soon as you can and we look forward to seeing you in May.
Anybody that HAS NEVER Marshalled before but intends coming to the TT and would like to Marshal should Register their details as soon as possible.
To do this, select the 'Online Signon' option (on the left of this page) and then click the 'Register' button near the top right-hand of the page.
Once you have completed this and the office has added you to the database, you will be informed by email of your warrant number and will be prompted to set your password. After that, you wont have to do anything until the online signing-on starts in January when you will be able to log in to the system and select when and where you prefer to marshal.
Note that you DO NOT have to register if:
- you have ever Marshalled at the TT or MGP before
- You have ever received our newsletter
- You have ever attended an Incident Management Course (IMC)
For the avoidance of doubt, signing-on for the MGP/CTT will commence AFTER the TT has finished.
